Facilitators
Marie Anderson

Marie Anderson has acted as vocal director and music director for many regional theater productions produced by the Northumberland Players, most recently for the Players productions of Les Mis, Secret Garden, Sister Act, and The Drowsy Chaperone.

In 2013 she was co-founder of SONG (Sounds Of The Next Generation), a program that offers free music training for children in choir and string instruments. In their 7th year, they have 95 children involved between ages 6 and 15.

With 40 years of experience teaching voice to children, Marie remains committed to offering exceptional instruction to children in Northumberland County, and is looking forward to working with Justine and Mark.

Marc Ludwig

Marc Ludwig is a graduate from the University of Alberta’s Acting Program. He has since toured with Alberta Opera’s Jack and the Beanstalk (the Giant), starred in the world-premiere of Colleen Murphy’s Bright Burning, wrote/directed for Blackout Sketch Comedy and performed for The 11’O Clock Number, the weekly improv show.

You might recognize him from this season’s Miss Bennet: Christmas at Pemberley or All My Sons.

Marc has a passion for teaching theatre too, and has instructed workshops in Alberta through Trickster Theatre, Artstrek, Alberta Opera and Grindstone Theatre.

Justine Benteau

Justine Benteau grew up in Port Hope and attended St. Mary’s Secondary in Cobourg, where she did all the Drama, Musicals and Choir she could. She received her First Class Honours BA in Dramatic Arts: Theatre Performance from Brock University.

Feeling her education should not stop there she moved to Vancouver to attend the Theatre Conservatory program at the Vancouver Acting School College.

Maybe you just saw her playing Elizabeth Darcy in December’s Miss Bennet: Christmas at Pemberley at the Firehall!
