A smash comedy hit of the London and Broadway stages, this much-revived classic offers a cantankerous novelist Charles Condomine, re-married but haunted by the ghost of his late first wife, who is called up by a visiting “happy medium.”

With wonderful staging, a script with twists and turns and 1940’s costuming and set, Blithe Spirit is a deliciously ghostly and funny piece of theatre!

Two actors with a “history” are cast together as romantic leads in a forgotten 1930’s melodrama. They quickly lose touch with reality as the story onstage follows them offstage.

Stage Kiss is a charming tale about what happens when lovers share a stage kiss or when actors share a real one. A romantic comedy and backstage farce by one of the most awarded contemporary writers.

Written by Lauren Gunderson (author of this past season’s Silent Sky) and Margot Melcon, this “sequel” to Jane Austen’s classic Pride and Prejudice sees the Bennet sisters reunited for Christmas at the home of Lizzy and her husband, Mr. Darcy.

Mary, the bookish middle sister, is still unattached. Mr. Darcy announces that he’s invited Arthur to join them for the holidays at Pemberley. Thus begins the inevitable romance. This new play is destined to be a holiday classic.

Our Youth Theatre production of A Christmas Carol will put everyone in the holiday spirit and is a perfect choice for a school trip or family theatre experience.

This A Christmas Carol goes beyond other adaptations by providing a unique dramatic concept: At the opening curtain, Charles Dickens himself is introduced to the audience and proceeds to present one of the famed readings of his stories, A Christmas Carol. While he does so, the story unfolds behind him, and soon Dickens is weaving in and out of the action.

Al and Willie as “Lewis and Clark” were top-billed vaudevillians for over forty years. Now they aren’t even speaking. When CBS requests them for a “History of Comedy” retrospective, a grudging reunion brings the two back together, along with a flood of memories, miseries, and laughs.

Besides reworking their sketch, the two men have numerous issues to work out before they are ready to return to the public eye. One of Neil Simon’s best comedies!

In roaring twenties in Chicago, Roxie and another “Merry Murderess,” Velma Kelly, vie for the spotlight and the headlines, ultimately joining forces in search of fame, fortune.

Based loosely on a true story, Fosse, Kander & Ebb’s legendary and award-winning Jazz musical is the longest running musical on Broadway.

This sharp-edged satire features a newly conceived show with a dazzling score played by a live orchestra, sparkling choreography and period costumes. Like the 2002 movie of the same name, Chicago is one of the sexiest and entertaining shows in Broadway history.

During WWII, Joe Keller and Herbert Deever ran a machine shop which made airplane parts. Deever was sent to prison because the firm turned out defective parts, causing the deaths of many men. Keller went free and made a lot of money.

The twin shadows of this catastrophe and the fact that the young Keller son was reported missing during WWII dominate the action. A script with unbearable power, the conclusion of the play is one of the most electrifying in theatre.

Memory and family are central themes in this moving drama by one of Quebec’s most dynamic voices, Governor General’s Award-winning playwright François Archambault.

The play portrays a family whose aging patriarch – a university professor, long-time sovereigntist and intellectual force – is in the early stages of dementia. With humour, love, and compassion, each family member reacts in their own way to the challenges of creating room in their lives for his care.

A powerful drama that raises broader questions of the role memory plays in all our lives.
