After twenty-five years of marriage, the emergence of love handles and receding hairlines, Alice and Henry have hit a physical plateau. With a "Sex for Dummies" guidebook in hand, Alice convinces Henry into a weekend of alone time in the hopes of seducing him and unearthing her inner vixen. Henry, however, wants to keep things the way they are - comfortable and easy.
Exploring every fantasy from leather to lace, Alice and Henry portray every couple's desire to grow together but maintain individuality. If you love comedy with hilarity and emotion then Sexy Laundry will provide you with a great evening of entertainment.
This show deals with adult humour, language and situations.

Meet the Cast
Bill Walker is currently the Head of Arts and teaches theatre at Trinity College School in Port Hope Ontario. A graduate of the York University Graduate Theatre program, Bill is an award-winning actor and director. Bill has participated in Soulpepper Theatre’s Directors Lab led by Joseph Ziegler and has directed numerous productions including Ten Lost Years, Inherit the Wind and All My Sons for which he won the Theatre Ontario Richard Howard Award for Direction. Sexy Laundry marks his second acting role with the Northumberland Players and he will be directing The Odd Couple in January 2019. During last year’s Northumberland Players season, Bill played the role of Harold in the David French play, Leaving Home for which he won the the Ron Hazelgrove Cameo”Award for the Eastern Ontario Drama League Festival. Bill greatly appreciates the wonderful opportunity to work with the Northumberland Players.
Kim Brouwer is originally from London, Ontario ,where she performed as a young actor, singer and dancer at The Gallery Theatre, Huron County Playhouse, The Grand Theatre, UWO Gilbert and Sullivan Society as well as the London Community Players. Kim has spent the last 30+ years behind the scenes as a successful producer and director in Canadian television but always missed being a part of community theatre. Fulfilling a promise to herself to one day return to her first love of live theatre, Kim relocated from Toronto in 2016 and joined the Players. She has appeared 4 times - last season as Cissy Robson in Quartet and as Minnie Jackson in Leaving Home, a role for which she was honored to receive the Margaret White Award for Acting from the Eastern Ontario Drama League.
