Kristy Bird

Kristy has been involved with the Players theatre camp for 5 years and is so excited to be back again for her 6th summer!

Kristy is a performance graduate of the Marilyn I Walker School of Fine and Performing Arts at Brock University. She has studied at the Shaw and Stratford Festival and currently studies on camera acting at LB Acting Studio and Armstrong Acting studio.

Locally, Kristy has performed at 4th Line Theatre, The Capitol Theatre and the Players beloved Firehall Theatre. Some past roles for Kristy include; Suzy in The Capitol Theatre’s production of Wait Until Dark, Shelby in The Capitol Theatre’s production of Steel Magnolias and Catherine in The Players production of Waiting for the Parade. Kristy is represented by Seventh House Talent.

Luke Paron

Luke began seriously immersing himself in the arts when he was 14 and auditioned for his first ever musical, his school’s production of Cabaret, and landed the lead role of Cliff Bradshaw. After this, he began finding opportunities to take the stage wherever possible, finding his way to the Northumberland Players. Through his time with the Players he has been in a number of shows such as Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Sister Act and Leaving Home. He has trained with the Stratford Shakespeare school for the past three summers concluding with the completion of their three-week Theatre Performance Intensive. His next years will be spent focusing on his passion for photography and animal rights with groups such as Anonymous for the Voiceless and Sea Shepherd.

Juliette Sinnott

Juliette has been involved in many aspects of theatre. Her performance experience at the Cameco Capitol Arts Centre includes The Wizard of Oz, Beauty and the Beast Jr and Aladdin Jr. She also was a member of the St. Mary Treblemakers Girls Choir and the La Jeunesse Youth Orchestra.

She currently performs with her harp at various events and teaches harp and theory lessons. Her passion for sewing has guided her to have her own fashion design business at the Port Hope Farmers Market.

In the fall she will be attending the University of Ottawa for a double degree in Mathematics and Music.

At the Northumberland Players Summer Theater Camp she is eager to share all her talents with local youth and fuel a love for the arts in our community.

Kyler Tonkin

This is Kyler’s third year at Northumberland Players Youth Theatre. Kyler has been featured in several Players and non-Players productions including Peter Pan, Les Miserables, Mary Poppins, and Shrek the Musical.

Kyler has extensive performance training from ballet and contemporary dance, vocal, and acting training.

Kyler previously attended St. Lawrence College for Musical Theatre, and currently attends Loyalist College for Film and Television Production.
